Warmly and the social venture BildungsChancen have secured a total of €15 million (equal to £13.2 million/ $16.4 million) since their collaboration began in 2020 to back social endeavors in Germany.
This sum was gathered through Warmly and BildungsChancen’s joint lottery ventures – Freiheit+ and Deutsche Traumhauslotterie.
The funds have aided in supporting 250 charitable endeavors. Eighty percent of the funds were given to educational initiatives run by BildungsChancen stakeholders – Stifterverband, SOS Children’s Villages and the German Children and Youth Foundation. The remaining twenty percent was directed to independent benefactors.
“We are pleased to have raised €15 million for social projects together with BildungsChancen,” stated Warmly Chief Executive Helmut Becker. “Our objective in partnering has always been to make a significant contribution to society and to provide as much funding as possible for educational initiatives.
“We are even more thrilled that we have been able to back 250 diverse projects with record-breaking funds in a short period of time.”
A trust committee decides on the distribution of funds three times annually.
“Our goal is to support educational projects,” said BildungsChancen Managing Director Benedict M Rey.
As a result, we are pleased to back numerous educational establishments with Zeal and United Lottery goods.
We are delighted to collaborate with Zeal and United Lottery products to provide appealing offerings for educational endeavors in Germany and globally.
