Playtech has consented to furnish its poker network services and content to the French operator, La Française des Jeux (FDJ).
As part of this arrangement, FDJ will gain access to cash tables, poker competitions, and Twister Poker, Playtech’s leading poker game.
FDJ will also become a member of Playtech’s Ipoker.eu network, which encompasses operators in numerous European markets.

The French online gambling market is expanding.
The French gaming watchdog, the National Gaming Authority (ANJ), has declared that France’s total gambling income (GGR) achieved a record peak in 2022. The annual GGR hit €12.9 billion (£11.1 billion/$14.1 billion) in the twelve months concluding December 31, 2022.
France’s online gambling market GGR expanded by 0.8% to €2.18 billion. Of this, sports wagering accounted for 64%, internet poker for 20%, and horse racing betting for 16%.
Internet poker had the most impressive GGR performance of all online games in 2022, reaching €442 million, up from €421 million in 2021.
Online sports betting GGR reached €1.38 billion, another record high. The amount wagered also established a new record, growing by 8.3%.
In the meantime, lotteries generated €5.6 billion in revenue in 2022, an increase of 10.2% from 2021.
Casinos generated €2.5 billion in GGR this year, up from €1.08 billion in 2021, slightly higher than the €2.4 billion pre-pandemic in 2019.
