The province of Saskatchewan is gaining a new digital gaming hub, and it’s arriving courtesy of a recognizable brand in the field. The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has been selected to introduce its PlayNow platform to Saskatchewan, broadening its presence deeper into the western region of Canada.
This choice follows a comprehensive search for the ideal provider by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA). They were favorably impressed with BCLC’s PlayNow platform, already firmly established in British Columbia and Manitoba as the exclusive regulated gaming website.
Saskatchewan’s iteration of PlayNow will be customized to the province’s tastes, showcasing favored casino offerings and, notably for many, wagering on individual sporting events.
The platform is projected to debut later this year under the formal management of SIGA, as per their arrangement with SaskGaming. This collaboration signifies a substantial move for SIGA, enabling them to provide online gaming in addition to their current casinos and expand entertainment choices for their patrons.
This development follows an accord reached last year between the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) and the Saskatchewan government, clearing the path for SIGA to enter the online gaming market.
Linda Cavanaugh, the head honcho at BCLC, shared her enthusiasm for expanding the PlayNow.com system into Saskatchewan. She stressed that individuals within the region would shortly gain entry to a premier digital gaming encounter. Cavanaugh underscored PlayNow.com’s distinctive standing as one of the select few wagering sites globally, and the sole one on the continent, to furnish players with connections to responsible gaming advisors. This dedication to user welfare, she observed, guarantees a protected and dependable online wagering atmosphere that champions responsible play.
