A top lottery organization, Allwyn, is collaborating with Future Films, an initiative that supports up-and-coming filmmakers, to create a new scholarship for gifted directors. This three-year alliance demonstrates a mutual dedication to nurturing the next generation of cinematic storytellers and will be honored at the esteemed Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
Founded in 2015, Future Frames annually chooses ten promising directors to present their work. Allwyn’s backing will enable the program to bestow a special prize upon one of these directors during the festival. The selected filmmaker will also receive an unparalleled opportunity: a month-long mentorship in Los Angeles, including workshops, studio tours, and invaluable counsel from industry experts.
Pavel Turek, Allwyn’s Chief Global Brand, Corporate Communication and CSR Officer, highlighted the company’s devotion to enriching lives beyond lottery victories. He affirmed that this collaboration exemplifies their commitment to making a beneficial impact by supporting artistic talent and contributing to the international film industry.
Karlovy Vary Film Festival director, Kristof Muchar, shared his excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its ability to significantly advance the careers of up-and-coming European directors. He feels it will present them with invaluable prospects and elevate their artistic pursuits to new levels.
